Jeff Hovis and his family have been residing in Wilmington since 1995.  Jeff has a solid background in the commercial, residential, hospitality and multi-family markets in Wilmington and through out North Carolina. Prior to moving to Wilmington, Jeff worked as the Director of Litigation and Senior Risk Management Specialist for the National Corporation for Housing Partnerships located in Washington, DC. Jeff spent all of his primary education years in Mercer, Pennsylvania. He earned his BA in Economics and Management from Hiram College. He has studied Advanced Business Management and Economic at Southeastern University in Washington, DC.  He continues his real estate and commercial continuing education to stay current with today’s ever-changing markets.

Jeff’s business experience has enabled him to assist all level of clients. He can work with helping the residential buyer finding their perfect home and turn around and locate the ideal location for an international company to establish a business.   Jeff has worked with hospitality companies, multi-family portfolios, public radio stations, foreign investors, local investors, banks and small business owners.  Jeff has an extensive background and experience in multi-family and large affordable and mixed-use development. 

Jeff has assisted non-profits and for-profit companies with the purchase and sale of businesses, properties and services.  Jeff is very active in our community.  Jeff currently serves as the Board Chairperson for The Wilmington Housing Authority for the City of Wilmington and as a Commissioner for the Board of Adjustments for The City of Wilmington. He has previously served as as Commissioner and Vice Chairperson the City of Wilmington Planning Commission. He also has served as the Vice-Chairman of the New Hanover County/City of Wilmington Community Relations Advisory Board, the New Hanover County Dispute Faciliatory Board, Area Safety Task Force and  the Wilmington Downtown, Inc Board of Directors. 

 Jeff will work with the individual buyer, investor or company to achieve their goals. Jeff has worked to maintain long term relationships with his clients and enjoys a number of repeat clients and welcomes new challenges.
